Mr Masheke
Salary Shield is an essential income protector, shielding your salary in the event that you cannot work. This policy protects the insured against loss of salary/income and also has added hospital benefits.
Mr. Masheke was fortunate enough to benefit from his Salary Shield policy in 2008. Being a security guard proved dangerous when he was shot on duty. He was immediately admitted to a hospital, but fortunate for Mr. Masheke he maintained his salary and received a Hospital benefit of N$ 1000.00 per day while he was recovering.
Mr. Masheke is a true testament to the success and importance of these policies as he was able to pay his costly hospital fees and keep his salary. “I received a hospital benefit of N$ 60 000.00. I am truly grateful for what Salary Shield has done for me. If I had not signed up, I would not have been able to afford to see a doctor. This to me is a miracle.” Mr. Masheke is currently in a wheel-chair and is living life more gratifying that before, he is devoting more time to his family and is happy to have been given a second chance to life.
